About us
INPoI AB is a small one-person company serving the nuclear power industry. Services are provided either directly to clients or by supporting other service providers. It has been active since 2016.
Support is provided in all phases of a nuclear power plant life – from planning a new build to decommissioning it and ensuring all waste and irradiated fuel are forwarded to their final repositories. Contributions may be in specific areas of design evaluations, safety assessments, work processes, quality management, information management, permitting preparations and procedures, and planning and execution of decommissioning.
It may also be support in answering broader questions like:
- Why should you build a nuclear power plant – why would you want to do that? That is – do you want to?
- How could you be allowed to build it – what is required from you and how you demonstrate that the plant and the organisations you intend to build have all the required properties? That is – are you allowed?
- How do you define the capabilities you need for a new build and its future operation? How do you verify that you have reached these capabilities? And how do you know that other parties – suppliers, regulators, financiers, and other stakeholders – engaged in a new build are suitably capable? That is – are you capable?
- If your answers to the previous questions are all yes, you need to determine how sure you are. That is – do you have mitigation actions to manage risks and actions to benefit from opportunities?
- Last of all – how do you know you can make the decisions that will be required throughout the new build process?
Several of these questions apply also to other large-scale programs in the industry.
